  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 cloves of garlic – minced
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of chopped scallions (green onions)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Soak the tteok in cold water for about 20-30 minutes to soften them. Drain the water before using them in the dish.
  2. In a large saucepan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
